We are stars
We are stars with no name
Some of us are bright, some of us are garish,
And some of us, most of us, are dark and quiet
He is the sun
He is the sun with fame
He is the brightest and the greatest in the world,
But he is not show-off; always burns quietly
We always go around him
We are millions or more; we are uncountable
While he is one and only
He can see us, but can’t notice one by one
I am one of the stars; I am less bright than others
Because I love him, so I want him to notice me,
But I am the dust; he is the sun
So I am glad only to see him every day
I can’t touch you but try to… No, don’t go /over the line
I always see, sometimes gaze, and love the sun
I love him best in the universe…
But, of course, he does hardly notice me
Once in several years or more, we approach him
I bring him some little gift so that he can see me
If too close, I will burn and vanish
But how about other stars?
Some of them, the garish ones, get too close,
Then, they dare to make him notice themselves…the sun, Watch out!

Held in your gaze, touched by your hands…
When it ends, I am too far for you to notice
But it’s OK. You’re the sun. You’re there.
Only I can do is to wish garish stars wouldn’t hurt you…

それが醒めれば、再び遠すぎる世界
